The idea grew wings and gained a sponsor (Janice from Urban Sew - formerly known as The Fabric Stash). Anyone could join in just by submitting photos of their completed projects to a Flickr group.
I kept score and was trounced in my own race, although I did manage to complete all my projects by my self imposed deadline of 31st August 2014.
I'd love for you to continue to use the Flickr group as a place to post photos of things you've made from the book, and if you've made something you really liked, or perhaps even sewed the whole lot, please let me know. I'll be as pleased as can be to hear from you.
If you joined in the challenge but it was all over before you reached you goal then this is the button for you:
Keep sewing and let me know when and if you make it!
Clicking on the images below will take you to the relevant blog post.
