For the love of bicycles.

If you haven't guessed already, I really like bicycles. This one is perhaps my very favourite. (any other bicycle nuts might be able to guess what it is!)

Anyway, today I'm over at the ByK website talking about how awesome bicycles are for kids and families and for mum's who just want to get away from their kids and families for a few hours! Come over and share the bicycle love, or if you're not fond of bicycles come for a sticky beak as I share myself a bit more than usual!

    1. Thanks Janice. It was flattering to be invited to be on their website and the kids scored some cool T-shirts!

  2. And I thought I had a little problem with 4 sewing machines, an overlocker, and 2 coverstitch machines (and contemplating more) but now I realise I'm just an amateur!

    1. Ha ha. So long as they each have their own unique purpose you can justify those machines and more. I still need a track bike, a BMX, a cyclocross bike.....

  3. Fun to learn more about you. We have also found the balance bike to be great for teaching kids to ride.

    1. Thanks Kristi. The combination of a Balance Bike and a Pump Track is unbeatable!
P.S. I loved the scarf you knitted for the Secret valentine exchange, Divine.

  4. Ooh, I have bike envy. My husband and I had 9 bikes in our garage at one stage - for just the two of us- and share your love of cycling. The great thing for me is he spends his pocket money on cycling stuff (for him and me!) and I then get to justify spending my pocket money on sewing paraphernalia. It's the best of both worlds for me!

    1. Great! Now I know who to visit if I ever get my bikes over to NZ on holiday!
We're a bit the same. Deliberate for ages about a new microwave or such. But a new DuraAce groupset cause the old one's worn. Well that's an essential consumable, no questions!
