Pyjaminals!

Try and be normal honey..... No, not that normal, try happy normal....

P's Pyjamas: Oliver + S Sleepover Pyjamas, size 5, view A.
Fabric: Celebrate Seuss, Robert Kaufman.
Red striped flannel was an incorrect order from fabric.com which they suggested I keep. Thanks!
I imagine if a clown became a convict these pyjamas would be the outfit!

A's pyjamas: Oliver + S Sleepover Pyjamas, size 2, view B (those ruffles are so time consuming, but gee they're cute!)
Fabric: Sheri Berry quilting flannel from Spotlight.

It seems a bit ridiculous putting pockets on kids pyjamas. I don't get why the kids need pyjama pockets, but I'm sure you understand that they HAD to be fussy cut, right?!

  1. These are really cute! The use of snaps is such a good idea

    1. I LOVE the snap press. 5 minutes to do nine snaps. No way I can sew buttonholes and buttons that fast. Plus the kdis can do them themselves.

    2. Have you seen the different colors and sizes offered by the Snap Source? I bought a selection a year or two ago and have found them so useful (although I didn't think to add them to my PJ's). They also seem very good value

    3. Thanks for the link but I have a different type of snap setter http://www.snapsaustralia.com.au/articles.asp?id=136
The snaps don't cost much at all, only nuisance is having to buy minimum of 100 of each colour.

  2. Those ruffles are totally worth it! By the time it's cold here again you may have single handedly convinced me I need this pattern :) And the fussy cut pockets are spot on. I would show them to everyone who came in my house...even if it was the middle of the day and my children weren't around. Check out these pockets! lol

    1. I'm loving the pattern. I never thought I'd bother making pyjamas when you can buy them so cheaply. But you can't buy jammies liek these! And yes, I made my husband admire my pockets, possibly more than once....

    2. I can not imagine cozier looking pj's for a child:) And the press studs are such a fantastic idea - I need to see if my local store carries those! Buttonholes aren't hard, but they are tedious. I think if I had these pj's I might be tempted to stay in them all day:)
